Still no testnet?

Where is the test net?

When my company deals with normal exchanges they will give us months to test a small change to their (usually FIX) API on their testnet before it is rolled out to the production servers. But Coinbase decided to sunset the old one and release a new one without a testnet. What is going on?

No serious trader in the world creates trading strategies and systems without first robust testing on a testnet. There’s only so much we can do with our own unit tests and testnets when there is no way to test official requests.

I logged a complaint with the SEC months back because it’s highly professional to rollout a new API without a testnet, it’s a clear sign of broken corporate controls and decision-making procedures. What has happened and why isn’t it done yet?
