Image Cache Time

Hello! Congrats on the launch

We’re looking into your new NFT item image API and noticing the line that reads “For performance and security, Coinbase stores the origin image files in a CDN and returns the cached URLs.” (from Images)

Could you elaborate on how long these images are cached for? What happens after cache expires – does the url expire or is the image served again to the same url? We want to make sure we can use these image url’s reliably before migrating over to CB. Thanks!!

Hi @sahilahuja - thank you and welcome to Coinbase Developer Forum! :slightly_smiling_face:

To answer your question, the image that we store in the CDN won’t expire by a certain time constraints.

Hope this helps! If you have further questions, please let us know!
