Is there a way to convert fiat to crypto in Sign in with Coinbase API? Does /conversions endpoint has a counterpart in your Sign in with Coinbase API? I’m thinking if the buys endpoint will suffice. thanks

For your question “Is there a way to convert fiat to crypto in Sign in with Coinbase API?”, we would like to inform you that there is no direct way in Sign in with Coinbase API to convert fiat into crypto and that there is no counterpart for the /conversions endpoint of Exchange/Pro API in Sign in with Coinbase API. As a workaround, yes, we agree with you that in order to convert fiat into crypto in Sign in with Coinbase API, you may utilize the Place Buy Order endpoint. With this, you may use your fiat to buy another asset that you want to acquire by using this endpoint.
